Northern Nova United Soccer Club is inviting coaching applications for its 2009 soccer program.

Whether you are a seasoned coach or parent looking to get involved in organized sport, we offer rewarding coaching opportunities for our pre-school through to our under 18 competitive programs.

Coaches are critical for the ongoing development of our players and programs. The Club’s aim is to provide coaches with the necessary tools to become a leading force for positive change in our players’ development – please see below for more information on our “Coaching Clinics”.

As a coach, you will teach things such as teamwork, character building, and the fundamental skills of soccer to our players who are eager to learn. The primary goal of coaching is to facilitate a learning environment that is fun, challenging, educational, and that develops a love for the game.

Our goal is to have the majority of our coaches assigned prior to registration at the end of March so please apply early – registration is on March 24, 26 & 28 at GR Saunders Elementary School.

Coaching Clinics

Mar 28/29 – Community Child – Women Only (HDSA Complex – Stellarton) on the field 3 hours each day + classroom component

April 25/26 – Community Senior (HDSA Complex – Stellarton) Sat – 9am to 4pm, Sun – 4pm to 8pm + classroom component

May 5 – Mini Pictou (McCulloch School – Pictou)

May 7 – Mini Stellarton for Northern Nova United (HDSA Complex – Stellarton)*

May 8 Mini Stellarton for Northern Nova United (HDSA Complex Stellarton) 6-8PM

May 11 – Mini Antigonish (TBD)

May 14 – Mini New Glasgow (HDSA Complex – Stellarton)

May 19 – Mini Amherst (Regional High School – Amherst)

May 21 – Mini Truro (Junior High School – Truro)

May 26 – Mini Tatamagouche (Elementary School)
